Bronze Shifter Bush, 6-speed to 5-speed Conversion

These bushes convert the later big-cup (22mm) 6 speed NB MX5 gearboxes to take a 5 speed shifter (15mm ball) so that you can fit a short shifter. Machined from bearing bronze with extremely close tolerances to take up play, these bushes are considerably stiffer than standard and result in the most direct-feeling gear shifting possible.
Note: With good upper bushes there should not be a noticeable increase in NVH from these shifter cups, but shifters like the Fine Cut with metal bearings rather than the OEM plastic may give some rattle if not tight.
